Why a new board?

Lately I've been getting questions on how I'm loosing weight, and how can I be doing a low(er) carb meal when I'm a vegetarian, and when I'm not particularly fond of veggies. Secret is, I'm not trying to loose weight, at least I wasn't when I started, and not sure if I am now. I started because Hubby was diagnosed as a diabetic. Luckily for him we do not share my veggitarianism, or sweet tooth. But being the most wonderful supportive wife I am (after telling him to quit mopping about or he'd be sleeping in our camper) I decided to do the diet with him. I did take a break when I got pregnant, but started again shortly after the miscarriage.

Since a few weeks before Christmas, (including the pregnancy, in which I always loose weight at the beginning) I've lost 18lbs.

Do I recommend my diet as a diet? Hell no, it's probably not healthy, would never be recommended, but hey for me it's working. I do try to do my yoga workout tapes a few times a week, but have been less then consistent about this.

This board is for 2 reasons. 1) To keep me on track and give me a place to record what I'm eating, and 2) to show other people if they are interested. Just be aware many carb amounts and serving sizes are guesstimated, but I ususally round up if I'm unsure on amounts.
